What Value does a Buyer’s REALTOR Provide?
Incredibly enough, I got a comment the other day one a video I put out about a Realtor’s value-per-hour. The poster asked what value does a buyer’s agent provide, given that he’s happy to show houses to himself. That’s a very good question, especially nowadays when companies like OpenDoor let buyers in to see their houses all on their own, without needing an agent to let them in. I myself don’t work much with buyers, but I do, sometimes – and when I do, I have two tasks which I view as most important: 1) to help the buyer avoid making what could be a very costly and disastrous mistake, and 2) help the buyer negotiate the best price and terms for a property once they’ve made the decision to buy. In this video, I share a story about how this happened to me recently, how I discovered a number of pitfalls regarding a particular property that wasn’t in the disclosure package and certainly had not been highlighted in any marketing. So please enjoy this video and learn what value a buyer’s REALTOR can bring to the transaction as well!
