In this episode of Seb Frey TV I talk about how very important it is that you get your home under contract within about the first 2-3 weeks it is on the market. Why’s that? Numerous academic studies have shown that the longer a home is on the market, the less it will ultimately sell for. Obviously, there are exceptions – and if you wait long enough, you’ll eventually get whatever price you’re after because real estate tends to increase in value over the long terms, even if it is only appreciating at the rate of inflation.
