You don’t have to look too far to find Realtors tooting their own horns – look at this house I just sold, look what a great deal I got for my clients, look how much over asking price we got this sold for, look how many buyers I helped my client beat to get into this home…the operative word there being “I.” Me. It’s marketing that’s all about the Realtor. I read somewhere, long ago – actually, it’s something I’ve heard and read many times – that people don’t care about you. Not that much. Mostly they care about themselves. What’s in it for them. And that’s totally fine. I’m in a service industry. I am here to serve. So I don’t talk about ME much. Don’t get me wrong – I talk a lot. My show is all bout me, talking – that’s it. But I try to talk about things that I think YOU, whoever you are, might find interesting, useful, and hopefully, once in a while, entertaining. But today, I’m making an exception with this episode of It’s a Seb Show – I’m talking about ME. Because something happened to me today which kind of took me by surprise, and I’m truly honored, and I wanted to share it with you, because this particular honor is one that few have had bestowed upon them. And then after I get done talking about that, I talk about something else which I’m kind of stoked about, which his how good a year I had in 2020 selling houses, at least as compared to the big kahunas in my real estate office.
